09/21/08 Gavin DeGraw at Sunshine - Gavin DeGraw stopped by the Sunshine Theater for a show Sunday night, September 21st and 93.3 KOB-FM was there and so were our lucky meet & greet listeners.

Hurricane Ike relief efforts - 93.3 KOB-FM asked for help from New Mexico to help the victims of Hurricane Ike. We got a semi trailer and you donated items to fill it. Items like Baby diapers, wipes, food, pet food, toothpaste and tooth brushes.

A "BIG" thank you is needed for the following organizations, who came out to help:
Three Angels Church, East Mountain Pathfinders, East Mountain Church, Sandia View Elementary School, Metro Church, Rio Grande Church, Rio Rancho Church, Crestview & Sandia View Academy.

We also want to thank volunteers who on both days just walked up and volunteered to help! The truck arrived in Texas about 2am Saturday morning and the guys that unloaded the truck had tears streaming down their faces as they heard of all the great blessings and love coming from Albuquerque and New Mexico! THANK YOU! Once again, you came through for all of America!

Maroon 5 Concert - Maroon 5/Counting Crows made a tour stop in Albuquerque on Tuesday, September 9th at Journal Pavilion and 93.3 KOB-FM was there - playing Guitar Hero in the McDonald's Late Night Lounge and upgrading listeners from lawn to reserved seats.
